About Alamo Descendants Membership ─ Payment Details & More

There are four types Of memberships available in the ADDA. Those are:

  • Lineal Members - have a direct bloodline to the defender, non-combatant, courier, or survivor of the Alamo.
  • Lateral (collateral) Members - have a direct bloodline to the defenders, non-combatant, couriers, or survivors' brother or sister. 
  • Associate Members - claim no descendent status.
  • Honorary Members - appointed by the Board of Directors for outstanding service to the organization.

The minimum age for membership is 16 years of age. ADDA does not discriminate against race, gender, creed, color, religious or political affiliation.

Membership Dues

Member dues are paid on an annual basis to the Treasurer. Members in good standing are invited to attend all events, including the Annual Remembrance Ceremony Weekend. Amounts per Year:

How to Join

Lineal and Lateral Membership requires submission of a membership application with all necessary documentation. All who meet the necessary requirements for membership and pay their dues are considered to be in good standing.
To submit an application, click on the 'DOWNLOAD ADDA Application' link below. Fill out the form electronically and click the 'Submit' button in the top right corner. (NOTE: You do not have to sign it when initially emailing it).
Once received, the Registrar will print it and mail it to your home address. You will then sign it, attach your required documentation and mail everything back to finalize your membership.
